Welcome to the Gold Coast Model Railway Club Inc!

Our club models HO/OO, N, G, O, and On30 gauges and has working model layouts for all members to run trains and complete modelling on.  We cater to those who model and those who run trains, and our club room is open to members every Wednesday and Saturday to use the club layouts, with Wednesdays primarily for working on layouts.

Come to the Mudgeeraba Show on the weekend of June 28th to 29th, and see our exhibition layout.

Our model railway club is open to the public at our model Train Shows, and our next Model Train Show will be later in the year. Please see our Facebook Page for regular updates.

New members are very welcome. To become a member, please click here to download our membership form.

We use the Digitrax DCC System to control our trains on our HO/OO, N and On30 layouts. DC models can also be run on our HO/OO, N and G layouts.

Do you want to sell a train set or trains? Are you new to model railways and looking for a place to find information or sell your trains?  If so, please see our Information page.

While the GCMRC does not buy trains or collections and can't always respond personally to emails or calls about selling trains, we gratefully accept donations of old locos, rolling stock, track controllers, etc.
