The Australian module section is complete. The town of Lockhart has been completed. The control panels and turnouts are to be completed and connected. Photos see home page
The port is completed. The port is called Shellharbour. The wharves are completed and track laid. The water polyester resin has been poured and has provided the illusion of depth. Seaside walk is completed with the new warehouse and grain unloader terminal completed and installed. The administration office is constructed. The road has been completed including the inlays for the turnouts. Last part of concreting is completed to the head shunt end. The back-scene relief buildings are painted and detailed. The container ship relief has been repaired and is now part of the back scene. See photos below. Wheel stops to be added at end of line.
New track and board laid but not fixed for the Cement batching plant. The half relief batching plant building, gantry and storage tanks are scratch built and are now complete and on display. The Kiln and treatment plant are under construction.The final design will change slightly as construction progresses. A town scene is planned for the front of the module with a possible station.
The new module Caledonia branch line has been cut and frame fitted. The English village s called Appleford and has made significant progress.It is now completed except for one house and a cattle dock. Lights have been fitted on the station and goods shed. Some evening photos to follow. Lighting construction continuing for Albion station. The rest of the British section has had a colour enhancement as over 7 years the colour had faded. This done with new floc and paints
